The count down starts...
Some of you already know, some might have heard from Anandi, some through some other friends...
Yes this time my turn to say Sayonara to Japan. It was hard to make this decision after living here for 16years. As you all remember we had to take a hard decision to relocate my family 2 years ago on the grounds of education. After their relocation I was speculating that my children might want to come back to Japan. So gave them enough time to make that decision.
They definitely want to come back to Tokyo, however clearly mentioned they don't want to come for Schooling. I am glad that the present school where they are going gave them a good platform for their learning.
Although the life was easy and enjoyable in a way, few more turbulence came in the form of my mom's sickness and I had to rush to India for a month during Apr/May time frame made us think to re-visit our decision of staying in Tokyo.
This was decided after carefully considering the future, both professional and personal front.
I will be moving to Mumbai w.e.f. Aug 1, 2013 and my last day in Japan would be Jul 24, 2013.
I must thank all of my Japanese and Indian friends and well wishers those who have helped me a lot during my early days of life in Japan and all through the 16 years of life in Japan. The memories are still green and I think I will be able to compare them with that I am going to face while settling in Mumbai soon.
I wasn't thinking I will be saying Sayonara to Japan so soon, however will make my best efforts to make this my 2nd home (again) soon after I retire.
Be careful Japan, I still have unexplored area/mountains in my wish list. Will be back...
